Is DevSnipe Down? The Site Is Returning 404 (October 2026)

Yes. As of October 9, 2026, every page on devsnipe.com returns a 404 with the hosting provider's "deployment not found" message, and I could not find a notice from the team about it.

Last checked: October 9, 2026.

What is known

  • The whole site is offline, not one page. The homepage, pricing, blog, feature pages and sitemap all return the same 404.
  • It was live about a week ago. Pages published in early October are still showing in search results.
  • The domain is still registered, into 2027. Nobody has let it lapse.
  • The Chrome extension listing did not load in the Chrome Web Store when I checked.
  • There is no public notice. No post, no banner, no status page that I could find.

A site-wide "deployment not found" can mean a deleted project, a hosting bill that did not go through, or a deploy that went wrong. From the outside those look the same. It may be back tomorrow.

What to do if you use DevSnipe

If you paid: find the receipt and note the payment processor and the date. If you are on the monthly plan and the site is still down at your next renewal, cancel the recurring charge there. If you bought the lifetime plan, keep the receipt.

If you have the extension installed: turn auto-submit off until the service is back. Drafting, matching and sign-in all depend on servers that are not answering right now.

If you run the Discord bot: a quiet channel since early October is this outage, not your settings.

If you need Upwork alerts today

I run Vibeworker, a tool in the same category, so this part is a plug and I am not going to pretend otherwise.

If Upwork was the platform you used DevSnipe for, Vibeworker covers the alert half today. It watches Upwork continuously, filters for the jobs worth seeing, and gets each one to you inside a minute of posting, with the full description, the client's spend, hire rate and payment status, and a proposal draft ready to review.

No Upwork login. No extension. No card to start. Your first test alert takes about two minutes, and Pro comes with priority support, from the founder: you write, I answer.

What you had, next to what you get

The two tools overlap on alerts and drafts. They differ on platforms and on who presses Send.

What you had in DevSnipe What you get in Vibeworker
Jobs from Upwork, Skool, LinkedIn, Indeed and Freelancer Upwork only. Every new job, inside a minute of posting.
Alerts by email, Discord bot or webhook Telegram bot, mobile and web push, RSS and webhooks. All included. Discord works through the webhook.
Matching on your skills and tech stack AI match score per job, plus client filters: total spend, hire rate, payment status, budget, category, keywords. Unlimited filters.
Proposal drafts filled into the Upwork apply form by a Chrome extension Proposal drafts written from your own profile, delivered with the alert. You paste and send.
Auto-submit on paid plans No auto-submit. Vibeworker never signs in to your Upwork account. Builders can send each job to their own agent by webhook.
$30 a month, or $99 lifetime Free tier with the full ranked feed and a few proposal drafts, no card. Pro is $19 a month, or yearly. 14-day refund, no questions asked.

If you were using it to build

DevSnipe wrote for n8n and AI automation freelancers, and a lot of that audience wants the job as data, not as a notification. Vibeworker's webhook sends the full job as JSON to whatever you point it at: n8n, Make, Slack, or an agent with Upwork's official MCP server connected. Here is that build, start to finish.

Questions DevSnipe users are asking

Is DevSnipe down right now?

As of October 9, 2026, yes. Every page on devsnipe.com returns a 404 with the hosting provider's "deployment not found" message. That includes the homepage, pricing, the blog and the sitemap. This page is updated when that changes.

Has DevSnipe shut down?

There is no shutdown notice that I could find, so the honest answer is that nobody outside the company knows yet. The domain is still registered, into 2027, and pages published in early October are still in search results, so the site was live about a week before it went dark. That fits a hosting or billing problem as well as it fits a closure.

I paid for DevSnipe. What should I do?

Nothing drastic on day one. Find your receipt email and note which payment processor charged you and on what date. If you are on the monthly plan and the site is still offline when your next renewal is due, cancel the recurring charge through that processor or through your card issuer. If you bought the lifetime plan, keep the receipt. It is the record you will need if the service does not come back.

Is the DevSnipe Chrome extension still working?

I could not load its Chrome Web Store listing on October 9, 2026. If you already have it installed, it stays installed, but anything that depends on DevSnipe's servers, such as job matching, account sign-in and proposal credits, will not respond while the site is offline. If you had auto-submit turned on, turn it off until the service is back. You do not want a Send button controlled by something that is half working.

Is the DevSnipe Discord bot still posting jobs?

I have not been able to confirm either way. The bot's alerts come from the same service as the website, so if your server has gone quiet since early October, that is the reason.

What can I use instead of DevSnipe for Upwork alerts?

For the alert half, Vibeworker. It watches Upwork continuously and sends each job that matches your filters to Telegram, mobile or web push, RSS or a webhook inside a minute of posting, with a proposal draft written from your profile. It does not cover Skool, LinkedIn, Indeed or Freelancer, and it does not submit proposals for you. The comparison table above shows what matches and what does not.

Can I get Upwork jobs into Discord without DevSnipe?

Yes. Vibeworker sends each matching job to a webhook, and a Discord channel can receive it. The setup is here.

Does Vibeworker auto-apply?

No. Vibeworker never signs in to your Upwork account and never submits anything. You get the job and a draft, and you send it. If you want an agent to do the drafting and submitting, the supported route is Upwork's own MCP server with a real-time feed as the trigger. That build is here.

Until it is back

DevSnipe is a young product, and young tools have bad weeks. If it comes back, this page will say so on the day. In the meantime the jobs keep posting, and the good ones still go to whoever replies first.

No card required. About two minutes to your first test alert.
