How is Vibeworker different from Upwork's built-in job alerts?
Upwork's saved searches match keywords. If a job contains "React", you hear about it whether or not the client is serious, the scope is clear, or the budget is realistic. Vibeworker checks every new job against your filters (budget floor, keywords, categories, client quality, experience level, job type) and scores it for scope clarity, red flags and effort. Only the jobs that pass reach you, within minutes of posting, on the channel you choose.
What are Shortlist and All Jobs?
Two starter filter sets that Vibeworker builds from your profile at signup, so you see right away what kind of work is out there for you. Shortlist is tuned tight, to around ten strong jobs a day; All Jobs is wide. They are a starting point: most people tune them or build their own filters once they see what comes through.
Does Vibeworker connect to my Upwork account?
No. Vibeworker never connects to your Upwork account, asks for your Upwork credentials, or applies to jobs automatically. It alerts you when a strong match appears; you review every opportunity and apply manually on Upwork. Vibeworker is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Upwork.
How fast are the notifications?
New jobs are picked up as they are posted. When one passes your filters, the alert usually reaches you within a few minutes, before most of the proposals come in. Good jobs get their first wave of applicants within about 30 minutes, and this puts you in that first wave.
How do I receive alerts?
On any mix of Telegram, the iOS or Android app, browser push, a webhook to your own URL, or an RSS feed. You pick the channels for each filter set, so a tight set can go to your phone while a wider one goes to a Slack or Discord channel through the webhook.
Do I need to keep a tab open?
No. Telegram and the mobile apps reach your lock screen with nothing open, and browser push works while the browser is in the background. Open the alert, review the job, and apply on Upwork.
Does it cost Connects?
Vibeworker itself does not use Connects. Applying on Upwork still needs them, which is why it matters where they go. The scores and client signals help you spend them on jobs worth winning, not on unclear scopes and clients who rarely hire.
Is there a free plan?
Yes, with no time limit and no card. A free account can browse the full scored job feed with client signals and unlimited job history. It also includes 3 AI proposal drafts to try, and each one unlocks the link to apply for that job. Pro adds alerts on every channel, unlimited proposal drafts, the mobile apps, and the API.
Who is Vibeworker for?
Any Upwork freelancer: developers, designers, writers, marketers, virtual assistants and more. During setup you describe what you do, and Vibeworker builds your filters from that. People building their first reviews and people chasing large contracts both use it; the difference is in the filters, and you can change them any time.
Is there an API?
Yes. Pro includes a jobs API, webhooks, per-filter RSS feeds, and a hosted MCP server that works with Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor. There are no rate limits, no usage fees and no separate developer plan. Many customers use it to pipe jobs into n8n, Zapier, Slack or their own tools.
What are the paid pricing options?
Vibeworker Pro is $189/year ($16/mo), $19/month, or $9.99/week, with regional pricing in some countries. There is one paid plan with everything included. Cancel any time and keep access until the end of your billing period.
Is there a mobile app?
Yes. Vibeworker has native apps for iOS and Android. Download it from the App Store or Google Play to get alerts on your lock screen the moment a matching job is posted. The web dashboard works on mobile too.
