# Vibeworker

> Upwork job alerts for freelancers. Set your filters once; when a new Upwork job matches, Vibeworker alerts you within minutes on Telegram, the iOS or Android app, browser push, a webhook or RSS, with a proposal draft ready. You apply on Upwork yourself.

Vibeworker watches newly posted public Upwork jobs and checks each one against the user's filter sets (budget floor, keywords, categories, client quality, experience level, job type). Every job carries client signals (payment verified, total spent, hire rate, average rate paid), a scope clarity and red-flag score, an effort estimate and an estimated Connects cost. Jobs that pass a filter set go out on the channels chosen for that set. Vibeworker never connects to the user's Upwork account, never asks for an Upwork login, and never applies to jobs for the user.

Upwork does not offer a public API to freelancers. Vibeworker has an Upwork jobs API you can build on: REST, webhooks, RSS and a hosted MCP connector, all returning scored Upwork jobs, with no approval process and no rate limits on a paid account.

## How it works

1. At signup the user pastes their Upwork profile link or describes their work. Vibeworker builds two starter filter sets: Shortlist (tuned to about ten strong jobs a day, alerts on) and All Jobs (everything in the field). Users tune these or add their own.
2. New Upwork jobs are checked against the filter sets as they are posted.
3. A job that passes is sent on that set's channels, usually within a few minutes of posting.
4. The user opens the alert, reviews the job and the proposal draft, and applies on Upwork.

## Alert channels

- Telegram: the full job and client history in the chat, with a button that drafts a proposal there
- iOS and Android apps: native apps with lock-screen alerts, same account as the web app
- Browser push
- Webhook: every match as a JSON POST to the user's URL (Slack, Discord, n8n, Zapier, Make or custom code)
- RSS: a personal feed per filter set

There is no email alert channel.
